Finnair Cargo Oy is the cargo arm of the Finnish airline Finnair Oyj. It markets belly capacity on the passenger fleet only and operates no freighter aircraft of its own. Operations are built entirely around the Helsinki-Vantaa (HEL) hub, where Finnair Cargo has run the COOL Nordic Cargo Hub since 2018, a temperature-controlled cargo terminal designed for pharmaceuticals, Nordic seafood and other perishables. In 2025 Finnair Cargo generated revenue of 204.5 million euros and carried close to 139,000 tonnes of freight. Capacity comes from Finnair's Airbus fleet. As of 11 September 2026 the carrier lists 17 Airbus A350, 8 Airbus A330, 22 Airbus A321, 10 Airbus A320, 6 Airbus A319 and 12 Embraer 190 aircraft; an A350 offers up to 95 cubic metres and 23,000 kilograms of cargo space. For the 2026 summer season Finnair states around 60 destinations within Europe plus 15 long-haul destinations in Asia, the Middle East and North America. Widebody services from Helsinki include Tokyo (both Haneda and Narita), Osaka, Nagoya, Seoul, Shanghai, Hong Kong, Singapore, Bangkok, Delhi, Chicago, Dallas, Los Angeles, New York, Seattle and Toronto, and within Europe Amsterdam, Brussels, London and Munich. A road feeder service (RFS) extends the network to Scandinavia, the Baltics and Northern Europe. For forwarders: shipments move under IATA designator AY and AWB prefix 105; the ICAO designator is FIN. Booking and tracking run through Finnair Cargo Online as well as the cargo.one, WebCargo, CargoAi and CPS platforms. Finnair was the first airline worldwide to obtain IATA CEIV Pharma certification in 2015; both the airline and the COOL terminal were most recently recertified in 2024.
