Dr. Arturo H. Illia Airport (IATA GNR, ICAO SAHR) is a small airfield at General Roca in the Alto Valle of Río Negro, used by general aviation, agricultural flying and air taxis. It has no scheduled services, no cargo terminal, no cold chain and no customs office, so its freight relevance is limited. Air cargo from this fruit- and wine-growing region is handled at Neuquén Presidente Perón (NQN) some 60 kilometres west and, for exports, at Buenos Aires Ezeiza (EZE), while volume reefer traffic is trucked to the port of San Antonio Este.
