The free Transit Time Calculator by Freight-Academy.com calculates shipping durations worldwide for sea freight, air freight and road transport. Enter origin and destination to get instant estimates in days – with typical duration (P50) and planning value (P80).
The system is deterministic: identical inputs produce identical outputs. It is based on a curated table of over 150 global lane baselines, supplemented by physics-based heuristics for all other routes. Each result includes a transparent segment breakdown and a confidence score (A–D).
Limitations: Limitations: No live tracking data, no guaranteed carrier accuracy, no exact customs times by commodity. The calculator is designed as a planning tool – for binding statements, current carrier schedules and customs information should be consulted.
