About This Airport
Confluencia is a plain airstrip in the thinly populated south of Mendoza province, at almost 1,500 metres above sea level on the edge of the Neuquén basin, used by private, government and occasional support flights for oil, gas and livestock operations. There is no terminal, no cargo handling, no customs post and no commercial airport code, so its freight relevance is effectively nil. Shipments for the region go through Malargüe (LGS) and San Rafael (AFA), and for larger volumes and customs clearance through Mendoza/El Plumerillo (MDZ) or Neuquén (NQN).
