Aerolíneas Argentinas, Flybondi and JetSmart anchor the schedule at Puerto Iguazú, the principal air gateway to the Argentine side of the Iguazú Falls in Misiones province. International services reach São Paulo, Rio de Janeiro and Lima, lifting traffic to roughly 1.8 million passengers in 2025. Cargo, however, is limited to belly freight on those passenger flights — mainly perishable and tourism-related goods — with no dedicated freighter operation. For substantial air cargo, shippers turn to Buenos Aires-Ezeiza (EZE). Just across the Iguazú River, Brazil's Foz do Iguaçu adds further regional connectivity.
