SAETA Perú is the airline that keeps Caballococha (ICAO SPBC) connected, flying subsidised on-demand services from Iquitos to this Amazon town near the Peru-Colombia-Brazil tri-border. The carrier works under Peru's RAP 135 rules, resumed Amazon regional flying in 2023 and carries parcels and small consignments alongside passengers. SPBC has no IATA code, no freight terminal and no dedicated air-cargo customs post, so shipments beyond hand-carry size are consolidated at Iquitos (IQT) and forwarded to Lima (LIM). There is no road connection to the rest of Peru; riverboats along the Amazon remain the carrier of choice for fuel, building materials and bulk foodstuffs. Border and customs formalities in the tri-border area are handled at Santa Rosa, Leticia and Tabatinga rather than at the airfield. Forwarders should treat SPBC as an access point for urgent light goods such as spare parts, documents and medical supplies, and plan volume freight by river.
