Air Peace Cargo is the freight arm of Air Peace Limited, a privately owned Nigerian airline based at 25 Sobo Arobiodu Street in the GRA Ikeja district of Lagos. There is no separate cargo company behind it: every flight is operated by Air Peace Limited itself, founded in 2014 by Allen Onyema, who still runs the company as Chairman and Chief Executive Officer. The operating model is belly cargo only. Air Peace runs no dedicated freighters; shipments travel in the lower deck of its passenger aircraft. The hub is Murtala Muhammed International in Lagos (LOS), with Nnamdi Azikiwe International in Abuja (ABV) as the second focus. The network covers the Nigerian domestic system including Port Harcourt, Enugu, Owerri, Asaba, Benin, Calabar, Uyo, Warri, Akure, Ilorin, Yola and Gombe, West African points such as Accra, Douala, Dakar, Banjul, Monrovia and Freetown, and long-haul services to London Heathrow and London Gatwick, Johannesburg, Jeddah, Mumbai and Tel Aviv. Libreville, Bamako and Conakry were added in April 2026. For forwarders the relevant codes are IATA P4, ICAO APK and AWB prefix 710; the callsign is PEACE BIRD. The distribution channel matters: the carrier's own website carries no cargo section, no shipment tracking and no freight schedule. Cargo is marketed through general sales agents; for the London-Lagos route Airbridge International Agencies (AIA Cargo) was appointed cargo GSSA in March 2024. Booking, rates and status enquiries therefore run through the relevant GSSA or the carrier's sales outlets rather than an online portal. Anyone needing main-deck capacity or end-to-end AWB tracking is better served by a freighter operator on these lanes.
