The Activ App is the mobile app of the Swiss BAZG with which drivers trigger the border crossing in the digital customs process. The driver loads the journey onto their smartphone; on arrival at a supported border crossing the associated goods declaration is activated automatically, without a counter visit. With Passar Einfuhr the Activ App is mandatory for the automated border crossing. It is part of the digital transport process around the Passar goods traffic system and the Declar web application: Passar declares the goods, Declar or the transport declaration links them to the vehicle, and the Activ App confirms the physical border crossing. During the transition, depending on the border crossing and neighbouring country, the Digital Transport Slip (DTS) must additionally be carried as a printout. Not to be confused with the actual customs declaration — the Activ App does not replace a goods declaration but activates it at the border. As of June 2026.
