AHK Air Hong Kong Limited, trading as Air Hong Kong or AHK, is Hong Kong's first all-cargo airline and has been a wholly owned subsidiary of Cathay Pacific Airways Limited since February 2002. The company holds its own air operator's certificate; the Hong Kong Civil Aviation Department lists it under AOC number 6. Its registered office is at Cathay House at Hong Kong International Airport (HKG), the world's busiest cargo airport. The operating model is unusual for a scheduled freight carrier. Air Hong Kong describes itself as a CMI and ACMI operator and flies its express network on behalf of DHL Express, its long-standing key customer, with whom a long-term block space agreement has been in place since 2019. Charter services are offered in addition. Booking and shipment tracking are not handled by the airline itself but by Cathay Cargo as its worldwide general sales agent. As at 31 December 2025 the fleet comprised fourteen Airbus freighters: four A330-200F and ten A330-300P2F, with an average age of 13.6 years. With the retirement of the last A300-600F on 27 June 2025, AHK completed a seven-year re-fleeting programme. A further A330P2F joins in the fourth quarter of 2026 under a long-term lease with Air Transport Services Group and will mainly operate freighter services to the Chinese Mainland and regional destinations for Cathay Cargo. The summer 2026 timetable, valid from 29 March to 24 October 2026, lists fourteen scheduled destinations from Hong Kong: Seoul Incheon, Osaka Kansai, Tokyo Narita, Nagoya, Singapore, Manila, Cebu, Ho Chi Minh City, Penang, Taipei, Chengdu, Beijing, Shanghai Pudong and Bangkok. What matters for forwarders: IATA code LD, ICAO code AHK, callsign AIR HONG KONG, AWB prefix 288. Available freight tonne kilometres reached 853 million in 2025, down 4.6 per cent year on year.
