The debtor status (Debitorenstatus) in Switzerland's new Passar goods-traffic system (BAZG, Federal Office for Customs and Border Security) is an indicator showing how a business partner's import duties (customs duty, VAT, etc.) are settled – in simple terms, whether payment is made on account or immediately.
