About This Seaport
Rock phosphate, fertilisers, ammonia, sulphuric acid and titanium dioxide define the cargo profile of Police (PL PLC), a dedicated bulk and chemical port on the western bank of the Oder, about 15 km north of Szczecin. Handling roughly 2 million tonnes a year, it serves the adjacent Grupa Azoty chemical works. Its four terminals — Morski, Barkowy, Mijanka and Jasienica — are built for liquid, gas and dry bulk. In 2026 the EU confirmed co-financing of €33.4 million for railway junction line 437 (completion Q1 2028); Grupa Azoty Police signed a potassium chloride supply agreement with Nutrien valid until December 2027, bypassing transshipment at ARA ports. In parallel, the Polish State Treasury is acquiring up to 33.7 million Series E shares (Extraordinary General Meeting called for 22 September 2026), strengthening the parent company's capital base. Małgorzata Królak has led the board since 1 April 2026. For container and general cargo, route via nearby Szczecin-Świnoujście.
