Overview
The Republic of the Congo (ISO code: CG) is located in Central Africa and borders Gabon, Cameroon, the Central African Republic, the Democratic Republic of the Congo, the Republic of Angola (Enclave Cabinda), and the Atlantic Ocean. Politically, it is a presidential republic with a centralized government system. The climate is predominantly tropical with wet rainy seasons and high temperatures, especially in the coastal and rainforest areas.
