QRO Airport (Querétaro Intercontinental Airport) – Cargo, Address, Transit

About This Airport

DHL Express runs its most advanced Latin American hub at Querétaro Intercontinental Airport, a US$120 million facility whose 44 automated lines move up to 80 tonnes a day and feed a direct link to the integrator's Cincinnati site. That investment is one reason Querétaro handled around 7,000 tonnes of air cargo in February 2026, ranking as Mexico's fourth-busiest freight airport. Aeroméxico Cargo operates a dedicated station with a bonded warehouse (almacén fiscalizado) for customs-controlled import and export handling. The surrounding Bajío is one of Mexico's densest industrial belts, anchored by aerospace names such as Bombardier and Safran alongside automotive suppliers whose just-in-time shipments sustain demand. Federal Highway 57 along the Mexico City–Nuevo Laredo corridor and rail links tie the airport into road and intermodal flows toward the US border. Twelve Boeing 737 freighters serve the domestic network from here, underlining the site's role as Mexico's rising cargo alternative to the congested capital.
