The first unit was in conversion at Bedek Lingyun in Yichang according to ch-aviation on 15 August 2023, the first IAI conversion of this type in India. Two previously operated Boeing 737-800(BCF) were retired in August and September 2022. No newer evidence, count not recorded.
Freighter capacity: Boeing 737 main deck with PAG pallets up to 6,033 kg gross weight per pallet position, pallet base 2,235 x 3,175 mm, cargo door 82 x 132 inches. Single pieces above 80 kg and above 3,334 kg per main-deck pallet position count as restricted and must be cleared in advance.

SpiceXpress est la marque fret du groupe indien SpiceJet. Depuis le 1er avril 2023, l'activité fret et logistique est juridiquement portée par SpiceXpress and Logistics Private Limited. Les comptes consolidés audités de SpiceJet Limited pour l'exercice clos le 31 mars 2025 désignent expressément cette société comme filiale significative. Dans ces comptes, le fret constitue un segment distinct, «Freighter and Logistics Services», avec un chiffre d'affaires de 1 869,41 millions de roupies sur l'exercice 2024/25, contre 3 248,32 millions l'exercice précédent. Il n'a pas été possible d'établir à partir de sources primaires si les avions-cargos volent sous un certificat de transporteur aérien propre à SpiceXpress and Logistics Private Limited ou toujours sous celui de la société mère SpiceJet Limited. Cette fiche ne porte donc volontairement aucun code propre. Ce qui compte pour le transitaire: le répertoire des membres de l'IATA attribue à SpiceJet Limited le code IATA SG, le code OACI SEJ et le code compagnie 775; les lettres de transport aérien du groupe commencent en conséquence par le préfixe 775. Les bases de données spécialisées divergent sur l'existence d'un indicatif propre à SpiceXpress. Modèle d'exploitation: avions-cargos Boeing 737 convertis en propre, complétés par la capacité en soute de la flotte régulière SpiceJet. Le service fret dédié a démarré le 18 septembre 2018 sur la liaison Delhi–Bangalore. La base et le hub sont l'aéroport international Indira Gandhi de Delhi. Aucun justificatif de flotte postérieur à août 2023 n'est disponible; à cette date, SpiceXpress disposait de trois Boeing 737-700(BDSF), dont un en service, et recevait son premier Boeing 737-800(BDSF). Le 19 août 2026, SpiceXpress a signé avec l'assistant Air India SATS un protocole d'accord portant sur des vols cargos d'animaux vivants au Multi-Modal Cargo Hub de l'aéroport international de Noida, prévoyant environ 200 mouvements de fret entre septembre 2026 et août 2027.
