Rather than a quay-equipped terminal, TR UZE denotes an open roadstead anchorage off Antalya – with roughly 18 m of anchorage depth but no pier or channel depth, it is offshore in character. The roadstead is used for anchoring and tanker operations off the coast, not for direct container or general-cargo handling. The region's commercial gateway is Port Akdeniz (QTerminals Antalya), whose container, bulk and cruise terminals handle some 210,000 TEU and 8 million tonnes a year.
