South Korea's air force and army aviation, together with the presidential flight, operate Seoul Air Base (K-16) in Seongnam, just southeast of the capital. The biennial Seoul ADEX air show is staged on its runway, but the base handles no scheduled passenger or freight traffic whatsoever. Forwarders serving the Seongnam area route air cargo through Incheon International (ICN), home to Korea's main cargo terminals and a free trade zone, or through Gimpo (GMP) for domestic moves. Trucking from ICN to Seongnam takes roughly an hour.
