About This Airport
Dragon Airfield at Suvo Polje in north-eastern Bosnia and Herzegovina, not far from Bijeljina and the Drina, is a small grass strip used for sport, ultralight and agricultural flying. It has no scheduled services, no cargo handling, no customs office and no internationally recognised airport codes, so it plays no role in freight. Air cargo for the region is handled at Tuzla (TZL) some 70 kilometres to the south-west, at Sarajevo (SJJ) as the national gateway, or at Belgrade Nikola Tesla (BEG), reachable by road in a little over two hours.
