Cape Gloucester (CGC/AYCG) on the north-western tip of New Britain in Papua New Guinea is a small coastal airfield with a natural-surface strip, serving charter and bush flights and a nearby tourism operation. There is no scheduled freight, no cargo terminal and no customs post; cargo relevance is confined to urgent goods and spare parts carried as belly load. Larger and international consignments move through Hoskins near Kimbe (HKN) in West New Britain Province, or through Port Moresby (POM), where consolidation and customs clearance take place.
