Bissel Airport is a plain bush strip in Kenya's Kajiado County, in Maasai grazing country south of Nairobi along the road corridor toward Namanga and Tanzania. It has no IATA or ICAO code and offers no scheduled service, no freight terminal and no customs clearance; use is limited to light aircraft on supply, mission and medical flights. Air cargo for Kenya runs through Nairobi Jomo Kenyatta (NBO), East Africa's leading freight gateway with a developed cold chain for flowers and fresh produce, while Wilson Airport (WIL) handles smaller domestic aviation and Mombasa (MBA) serves the coast.
