About This Airport
The airfield at Archaga, a hillside settlement in the Honduran department of Francisco Morazán north of Tegucigalpa, is a basic unpaved strip for light aircraft. It offers no cargo handling, no customs and no scheduled flights, so it carries no weight in air freight planning. Shipments to central Honduras go through Tegucigalpa Toncontín (TGU) some 25 kilometres to the south, or through the larger Palmerola airport (XPL) near Comayagua, which has carried the region's international traffic since 2021.
