The first unit was in conversion at Bedek Lingyun in Yichang according to ch-aviation on 15 August 2023, the first IAI conversion of this type in India. Two previously operated Boeing 737-800(BCF) were retired in August and September 2022. No newer evidence, count not recorded.
Freighter capacity: Boeing 737 main deck with PAG pallets up to 6,033 kg gross weight per pallet position, pallet base 2,235 x 3,175 mm, cargo door 82 x 132 inches. Single pieces above 80 kg and above 3,334 kg per main-deck pallet position count as restricted and must be cleared in advance.

SpiceXpress è il marchio merci del gruppo indiano SpiceJet. Dal 1° aprile 2023 l'attività cargo e logistica è giuridicamente collocata in SpiceXpress and Logistics Private Limited. Il bilancio consolidato certificato di SpiceJet Limited per l'esercizio chiuso al 31 marzo 2025 indica espressamente questa società come controllata rilevante. In tale bilancio il cargo costituisce un segmento a sé, «Freighter and Logistics Services», con ricavi per 1.869,41 milioni di rupie nell'esercizio 2024/25 contro 3.248,32 milioni dell'esercizio precedente. Non è stato possibile accertare da fonti primarie se i cargo volino con un certificato di operatore aereo proprio di SpiceXpress and Logistics Private Limited oppure ancora con quello della capogruppo SpiceJet Limited. Questa scheda non riporta quindi deliberatamente codici propri. Ciò che conta per lo spedizioniere: il registro dei membri IATA assegna a SpiceJet Limited il codice IATA SG, il codice ICAO SEJ e l'airline code 775; le lettere di vettura aerea del gruppo iniziano di conseguenza con il prefisso 775. Le banche dati di settore sono in disaccordo sull'esistenza di un designatore proprio di SpiceXpress. Modello operativo: cargo Boeing 737 convertiti in proprio, affiancati dalla capacità in stiva della flotta di linea SpiceJet. Il servizio cargo dedicato è partito il 18 settembre 2018 sulla rotta Delhi–Bangalore. Base e hub è l'aeroporto internazionale Indira Gandhi di Delhi. Non esistono riscontri di flotta successivi ad agosto 2023; a quella data SpiceXpress disponeva di tre Boeing 737-700(BDSF), di cui uno operativo, e stava acquisendo il primo Boeing 737-800(BDSF). Il 19 agosto 2026 SpiceXpress ha firmato con l'handler Air India SATS un memorandum d'intesa per voli cargo di animali vivi presso il Multi-Modal Cargo Hub dell'aeroporto internazionale di Noida, con circa 200 movimenti cargo previsti tra settembre 2026 e agosto 2027.
