Full charters and project logistics via the Cargo Charter & Lease team. The B777-200LRF offers eleven PGA positions on the main deck at up to 21,600 kg each, main deck door 3.60 x 3.10 m.
Ethiopian Cargo & Logistics Services est la division fret d'Ethiopian Airlines Group, détenue à 100 pour cent par l'État éthiopien. La société a été fondée le 21 décembre 1945 et a débuté ses opérations le 8 avril 1946 avec cinq DC-3; son siège se trouve à l'aéroport international de Bole à Addis-Abeba. Le groupe détient lui-même le certificat de transporteur aérien et est enregistré auprès de l'AESA comme exploitant de pays tiers sous le numéro ETH-0001. Modèle d'exploitation: Ethiopian combine ses propres avions tout-cargo avec la capacité en soute de la flotte passagers et propose en outre des vols charter. En septembre 2026, la flotte cargo compte 12 Boeing 777-200LRF, trois Boeing 767-300F et quatre Boeing 737-800F, soit 19 appareils; cinq Boeing 777-200LRF supplémentaires sont commandés. S'y ajoute la capacité en soute de plus de 145 avions passagers d'un âge moyen d'environ sept ans. Réseau: Addis-Abeba (ADD) est le hub principal et abrite un terminal fret hautement automatisé d'une capacité annuelle d'un million de tonnes. De là, Ethiopian desservit 70 destinations tout-cargo dédiées et plus de 145 destinations passagers et fret en Afrique, au Moyen-Orient, en Asie, en Europe et dans les Amériques, dont plus de 60 villes africaines. Le tonnage quotidien moyen dépasse 2'000 tonnes. Les points forts du réseau cargo européen sont Liège, Bruxelles, Madrid, Istanbul et East Midlands, et en Asie Hong Kong, Shanghai, Guangzhou, Shenzhen et Zhengzhou. Codes et documentation: Ethiopian opère sous le code IATA ET, le code OACI ETH et le préfixe LTA 071. Les lettres de transport aérien sont émises au format 071-XXXXXXXX. Pertinent pour les transitaires: Ethiopian a été la première compagnie africaine certifiée IATA CEIV Pharma en 2022 et a obtenu sa recertification en janvier 2025, à la fois comme compagnie aérienne et comme agent d'assistance en escale. L'heure limite d'acceptation à Addis-Abeba est de huit heures avant le départ pour le fret sec et de cinq heures pour les denrées périssables. Le plafond de responsabilité est de 17 DTS par kilogramme; les réclamations doivent être déposées dans les 14 jours calendaires.
