The first unit was in conversion at Bedek Lingyun in Yichang according to ch-aviation on 15 August 2023, the first IAI conversion of this type in India. Two previously operated Boeing 737-800(BCF) were retired in August and September 2022. No newer evidence, count not recorded.
Freighter capacity: Boeing 737 main deck with PAG pallets up to 6,033 kg gross weight per pallet position, pallet base 2,235 x 3,175 mm, cargo door 82 x 132 inches. Single pieces above 80 kg and above 3,334 kg per main-deck pallet position count as restricted and must be cleared in advance.

SpiceXpress es la marca de carga del grupo indio SpiceJet. Desde el 1 de abril de 2023 el negocio de carga y logística reside jurídicamente en SpiceXpress and Logistics Private Limited. Las cuentas consolidadas auditadas de SpiceJet Limited del ejercicio cerrado el 31 de marzo de 2025 designan expresamente a esa sociedad como filial significativa. En dichas cuentas la carga constituye un segmento propio, «Freighter and Logistics Services», con una cifra de negocio de 1.869,41 millones de rupias en el ejercicio 2024/25 frente a 3.248,32 millones el ejercicio anterior. No fue posible acreditar con fuentes primarias si los cargueros vuelan bajo un certificado de operador aéreo propio de SpiceXpress and Logistics Private Limited o todavía bajo el de la matriz SpiceJet Limited. Por ello esta ficha no recoge deliberadamente códigos propios. Lo relevante para el transitario: el registro de miembros de IATA asigna a SpiceJet Limited el código IATA SG, el código OACI SEJ y el airline code 775; los conocimientos aéreos del grupo comienzan en consecuencia con el prefijo 775. Las bases de datos sectoriales discrepan sobre si SpiceXpress tiene además un designador propio. Modelo operativo: cargueros Boeing 737 convertidos propios más capacidad en bodega de la flota regular de SpiceJet. El servicio de carga dedicado arrancó el 18 de septiembre de 2018 con la ruta Delhi–Bangalore. La base y el hub es el aeropuerto internacional Indira Gandhi de Delhi. No hay constancia de flota posterior a agosto de 2023; en esa fecha SpiceXpress contaba con tres Boeing 737-700(BDSF), uno de ellos operativo, e incorporaba su primer Boeing 737-800(BDSF). El 19 de agosto de 2026 SpiceXpress firmó con el handler Air India SATS un memorando de entendimiento sobre vuelos cargueros de animales vivos en el Multi-Modal Cargo Hub del aeropuerto internacional de Noida, previendo unos 200 movimientos de carguero entre septiembre de 2026 y agosto de 2027.
