On Mexico's Pacific coast in Oaxaca, the port is anchored by Pemex's Antonio Dovalí Jaime refinery and handles mainly petroleum products, alongside agricultural and mineral bulk and a limited volume of containers. Its Muelle II quay runs 465 metres with roughly 10 metres of draught, accommodating vessels up to about 180 metres.
