About This Seaport
Operated by IRPC Public Company Ltd in support of its adjacent refinery, the Rayong TPI terminal (now the IRPC port) sits about 215 km east of Bangkok Port and some 7 nm east of Map Ta Phut. It combines a tanker jetty of six berths for petroleum, petrochemicals and LPG with a general-cargo and container jetty of six berths handling coal, dry bulk and containers. Terminal 1 covers liquid bulk—crude, petroleum products, LPG and chemicals—while Terminal 2 takes containers, dry bulk, metals, heavy-lift and project cargo. The facility therefore reaches beyond pure energy logistics into industrial breakbulk and box volumes, though it remains geared to the refinery complex. Hinterland access runs through the Rayong industrial zone by road, while mainstream liner container traffic uses the much larger Laem Chabang. For petrochemical bulk and tanker parcels, Rayong (IRPC) and neighbouring Map Ta Phut are the relevant calls.
