About This Seaport
Carrying about four million passengers a year, Mukilteo on Puget Sound is essentially a ferry terminal rather than a cargo port. It anchors the Mukilteo-Clinton run to Whidbey Island, one of Washington State's busiest vehicle-ferry routes, and its former fuel pier and tank farm were demolished by 2015. The site offers no commercial breakbulk or container handling. Shippers should instead use the nearby Port of Everett or the Northwest Seaport Alliance container terminals at Seattle and Tacoma.
