About This Seaport
Pleasure craft, angling boats and the smell of the local smokehouse fill Hasle today, a small harbour on the west coast of Bornholm north of Rønne that once shipped granite and its well-known Hasle clinker. Commercial cargo handling has essentially ended, and the port now serves fishing, sailing and leisure traffic. For freight of any kind – containers, breakbulk, customs clearance or ferry cargo – Hasle has no role. The island's commercial gateway is Rønne, with ro-ro and ferry links to Køge in Denmark and Świnoujście in Poland.
