About This Airport
Set just north of Omdurman in Khartoum State, Wadi Seidna is a Sudanese Air Force base, not a commercial field. It drew international attention in April 2023, when several governments used it to evacuate their nationals as fighting engulfed Khartoum. The base handles no bookable air cargo and offers no civil handling. Forwarders with Sudan traffic should route international air freight through Port Sudan (PZU) on the Red Sea and regard Wadi Seidna as strictly military.
