Nizhyn Air Base is located near Nizhyn, northeast of Kyiv in northern Ukraine. The base most recently served, among others, Ukraine's State Emergency Service; since the start of the war in 2022, regular flight operations have been suspended and the field has repeatedly been the target of attacks. No air cargo is handled; Ukrainian air freight is currently routed via road feeder services to EU airports such as Rzeszów (RZE).
