Bearing the name of an Alaouite founding figure, Moulay Ali Cherif Airport (ERH) is the air gateway to Errachidia and the wider Tafilalet oasis belt of south-eastern Morocco. Royal Air Maroc links it mainly with Casablanca, while seasonal charters carry visitors heading for the Merzouga dunes and the Erg Chebbi. The airport runs no dedicated freight facility; any air cargo travels as belly load aboard scheduled passenger aircraft. Shipments for the region are therefore consolidated at the Casablanca Mohammed V (CMN) cargo terminal and trucked the roughly 470 km inland. For forwarders, ERH is a last-mile destination rather than a transfer point.
