Clinceni airfield lies about 20 kilometres south-west of Bucharest and is a grass-runway sport and training aerodrome, known for gliding, skydiving and flight schools. It has no scheduled service, no freight handling, no customs post and no IATA code, and plays no role in air cargo. Romanian air freight is concentrated at Bucharest Henri Coandă (OTP), home to the country's cargo terminals and integrator traffic, while Bucharest Băneasa (BBU) handles business aviation.
