Beru Airport (BEZ/NGBR) on Beru atoll in the southern Gilbert Islands of Kiribati is a basic island strip served by small turboprop aircraft on domestic routes. It has no cargo handling, no storage capacity and no customs post; the island is supplied almost entirely by inter-island shipping, with only urgent items and mail travelling by air in small quantities. International air freight for Kiribati is routed through Bonriki International Airport (TRW) at Tarawa, which connects to the wider network via Nadi (NAN) in Fiji and Brisbane (BNE).
