At Cuba's far eastern tip, near Maisí in Guantánamo province, sits the small Alfredo Noa Díaz airfield, carrying the IATA code UMA. It is used at most for occasional domestic, charter and supply flights; there is no freight terminal, no scheduled cargo service and no customs office on site, leaving very limited cargo relevance. Air freight for eastern Cuba is routed through Guantánamo Mariana Grajales (GAO, roughly 150 km by road) or Santiago de Cuba Antonio Maceo (SCU, about 250 km).
