IndiGo CarGo is the cargo division of InterGlobe Aviation Limited, which operates India's largest airline under the IndiGo brand. The company was incorporated in 2004, is listed on BSE and NSE and began flight operations on 4 August 2006. Its registered office is in New Delhi, while the corporate headquarters are in Gurugram, Haryana. Cargo moves both in the belly capacity of the passenger fleet and on the airline's own freighters. As of 31 March 2026 the fleet comprised 441 aircraft, including three Airbus A321-200P2F. These converted freighters offer 24 container positions and a payload of up to 27 tonnes. IndiGo took delivery of its first A321P2F on 29 September 2022, and the first freighter service operated on 15 November 2022 as 6E 8011 between Delhi and Mumbai. The home base and hub is Indira Gandhi International Airport in New Delhi (DEL). According to the carrier, IndiGo CarGo offers more than 130 daily departures and is present at 52 domestic and 15 international destinations. The codes are IATA 6E, ICAO IGO and AWB prefix 312, so air waybills begin with 312. The product range covers general cargo, the express product 6E Priority, FAC for small consignments, valuable and vulnerable cargo, human remains and cremated ashes, dry shippers for biological samples, dry batteries and cargo charters. Live animals are not carried. For forwarders: cargo must be tendered three hours before departure, general cargo is released two hours after arrival, and express, valuable and perishable shipments 60 minutes after arrival.
