Icelandair Cargo is the air freight arm of Iceland's Icelandair and part of the listed Icelandair Group hf. It was set up at the end of 1999 as a dedicated cargo subsidiary and is today run as the group's Cargo division; the business address is Flugvellir 1, 221 Hafnarfjörður. Flights operate under Icelandair's air operator certificate, so Icelandair Cargo uses the parent's designators: IATA code FI, ICAO code ICE, callsign ICEAIR and AWB prefix 108. The operating model rests on two pillars. Icelandair Cargo markets the lower-deck capacity of Icelandair's passenger network, which serves more than 40 international destinations in Europe and North America non-stop from Keflavik. In addition, as at 31 December 2025 the division operated one Boeing 767-300 in freighter configuration on a scheduled rotation between Liege, New York and Keflavik. Within Iceland, shipments move from Reykjavik Domestic Airport to Akureyri, Egilsstadir, Hofn and Isafjordur. In 2025 the division carried 38,000 tonnes of freight after 37,000 tonnes a year earlier, on revenue of USD 84.2 million and an EBIT of USD 4.4 million, an EBIT margin of 5 per cent. Icelandic fisheries form the backbone of the export flow: 22,000 tonnes of fresh fish moved by air in 2025. Inbound, fruit and vegetables, spare parts and e-commerce dominate. What matters for forwarders: Keflavik offers a 10,000 square metre warehouse with temperature control, and in Europe Icelandair Cargo runs its own station at Liege. Besides general cargo the product range covers perishables, pharmaceuticals, dangerous goods, valuables, outsize freight, live animals including horses, and human remains. Shipment tracking runs through the CHAMP portal under prefix 108.
