flydubai Cargo is the cargo division of Dubai Aviation Corporation, which trades as flydubai and is owned by the Government of Dubai. The division holds no air operator certificate of its own and markets the parent airline's capacity. Shipments move under the IATA designator FZ, the ICAO code FDB and air waybill prefix 141. Operating model: to date flydubai Cargo has been a pure belly-hold proposition. As of 11 September 2026 the parent operates a single-type fleet of 98 Boeing 737 aircraft — 25 Boeing 737-800, 69 Boeing 737 MAX 8 and 4 Boeing 737 MAX 9 — whose lower holds provide the entire cargo capacity. From 1 October 2026 three Boeing 737-800 freighters wet-leased from SolitAir join the operation. They add 23,000 kg of payload per flight and are based at Al Maktoum International (DWC). This gives flydubai Cargo main-deck capability for the first time and allows full charters alongside scheduled services. Network and hubs: the home base is Dubai International (DXB). Acceptance there runs through dnata Cargo in the Dubai Airport Freezone: Freight Gate 3 for general, priority, dangerous goods and live animals, Freight Gate 2 (CMC) for courier and mail, Freight Gate 6 at the Dubai Flower Centre for temperature-controlled goods and the Transguard terminal for valuables. At the second site, Al Maktoum International (DWC), Freight Gate 8 handles the traffic. The network covers more than 125 destinations in 56 countries across Africa, Central Asia, the Caucasus, Central and Southeast Europe, the GCC and the Middle East, South Asia and Southeast Asia, extended further by interline agreements. For forwarders: digital booking through cargo.one since autumn 2024, tracking via the carrier's cargo portal, e-AWB under IATA Resolution 672. Transfers between flights in Dubai are possible from one hour.
