AeroLogic

Aerologic GmbH, based in Schkeuditz near Leipzig, is a German cargo airline and a fifty-fifty joint venture of DHL Express and Lufthansa Cargo; each shareholder holds 50 per cent. After the holding company Blitz 07-343 GmbH was set up in 2007, the company took its present name on 9 January 2008. The first commercial scheduled flight departed on 25 June 2009, a few weeks after the first Boeing 777F was delivered. Operating model: AeroLogic is a pure freighter operator running its own flight operations, but it does not market its own capacity. Cargo space is sold entirely by the two shareholders under their own codes. Forwarders therefore do not book AeroLogic flights with the airline itself but through Lufthansa Cargo or DHL Express; rates, the air waybill, shipment tracking and claims all run through the selling carrier. Fleet: 28 Boeing 777F and no other type (as of September 2026, operator statement). According to manufacturer data quoted by the operator, the type carries a payload of up to 106 tonnes on 27 main-deck and 32 lower-deck positions. Lufthansa Cargo states that six of the 18 Boeing 777Fs it markets are operated by AeroLogic. Network: The home base is Leipzig/Halle Airport (LEJ), which is also DHL Express's European hub and one of the few German airports permitting round-the-clock freighter operations. The operator lists 35 stations across Europe, Asia and North America, among them Hong Kong, Shanghai Pudong, Singapore, Seoul, Tokyo Narita, Dubai, Frankfurt, Chicago, Cincinnati and Los Angeles.
