A Rail Freight Corridor is a jointly operated network of prioritized, standardized freight routes within one or more countries, designed to make cross-border freight transport more efficient. It includes harmonized timetables, performance-oriented infrastructure, interoperable systems and interfaces for intermodal logistics, aiming to deliver high reliability, capacity, and shorter transit times for freight.
