The Common Transit Procedure is a customs procedure within the European Union that allows goods to be transported under centralized customs supervision from one Member State to another without requiring a separate customs declaration for each leg. It is supported by the New Computerised Transit System (NCTS) and is used to simplify and control cross-border movement of goods.
