An «e-dec transitional case» is an import or export customs declaration that, during the ongoing migration from the legacy e-dec system to the new goods traffic system Passar of the Swiss customs authority (BAZG, Federal Office for Customs and Border Security), is still processed under the e-dec rules even though goods traffic is already partly running on Passar.
