An e-dec legacy case is a customs declaration that was started or filed in Switzerland's previous e-dec system and is not yet fully completed at the switch to the new Passar goods-traffic system run by the Federal Office for Customs and Border Security (BAZG) – for example because it is still open, under review, or carries an outstanding payment or assessment.
