Document verification automation refers to the use of software systems and technologies such as artificial intelligence, optical character recognition (OCR), and rule-based engines to automatically review, validate, and approve shipping and transport documents (e.g., bills of lading, customs declarations) in order to reduce manual errors and accelerate process flow.
