In the context of FCA, import clearance refers to the customs clearance of the imported goods at the destination by the buyer (or their authorized representative). The seller is responsible for export clearance and delivery up to the named place, while the import formalities, including customs declaration and payment of duties and taxes, are the buyer's responsibility.
