DAP Import clearance denotes a variant of Delivered At Place (DAP) where, in addition to delivering the goods to the named destination, the seller also handles the import clearance formalities at the destination (including any required duties and taxes) as specified. Risk passes to the buyer when the goods are placed at the disposal of the buyer at the named place ready for unloading; import duties and formalities are settled by agreement with the seller.
