Competition policy for transport is the set of laws, rules and regulatory measures aimed at ensuring fair competition in transport markets (passenger and freight, infrastructure access) by preventing anticompetitive practices, regulating access to networks, liberalising markets where possible, and promoting transparency and equal treatment of operators.
