Definition & Explanation
A basic service encompasses the standardized scope of core offerings on which optional additional services build. For a customs authority like BAZG, this means the essential services provided consistently and with uniform quality—such as cargo clearance, submission of customs declarations, or border protection. Specialized or enhanced services can be added on top of this foundation. This model provides planning certainty and transparent cost allocation between basic and supplementary services.
