CMA CGM AIR CARGO es la compañía de carga aérea del grupo naviero y logístico francés CMA CGM. La sociedad opera como CMA CGM AIR CARGO SAS, con domicilio social en boulevard Jacques Saadé, 4 quai d'Arenc, en Marsella, e inscrita en el registro mercantil de Marsella. El grupo lanzó la división en marzo de 2021; la operación comenzó el 8 de marzo de 2021 con un Airbus A330-200F entre Lieja y Chicago, entonces todavía bajo el código de vuelo de la belga Air Belgium. Desde mayo de 2022 la sociedad vuela con designador propio y desde el 1 de junio de 2022 dispone de su propio certificado de operador aéreo francés expedido por la Direction générale de l'aviation civile. CMA CGM AIR CARGO es un operador exclusivamente cargero, sin tráfico de pasajeros. El transportista emplea Boeing 777F propios y un Airbus A330-200F; hay Airbus A350F encargados, previstos a partir de finales de 2027. Una parte de la red no la vuela la propia sociedad francesa: los vuelos transpacíficos desde Chicago O'Hare los opera Atlas Air en régimen ACMI bajo la marca CMA CGM AIR CARGO, mientras que las rotaciones belgas desde Bruselas y Lieja las realiza la sociedad del grupo Air Belgium con Boeing 747-8F. CMA CGM asumió las actividades de carga de Air Belgium el 30 de abril de 2025, conservando deliberadamente la marca Air Belgium. Los transitarios deben tener en cuenta esta distinción entre marca y transportista ejecutor en cuestiones de responsabilidad y de handling. El centro principal es París-Charles de Gaulle, complementado por Chicago O'Hare, Bruselas y Lieja. Los servicios regulares enlazan Europa con China continental, Hong Kong y Vietnam, y Norteamérica con Asia Oriental y México. Para la emisión del conocimiento aéreo: designador IATA 2C, código OACI CMA, prefijo AWB 003, indicativo FRENCH CARGO. Reserva, horarios y seguimiento de envíos se gestionan a través del portal Cargospot de CHAMP Cargosystems. La oferta abarca carga general, perecederos, animales vivos, mercancías peligrosas, envíos con temperatura controlada y farmacéuticos, valores y chárter.
