Avianca Cargo es la marca de carga de Tampa Cargo S.A.S., con sede en el aeropuerto José María Córdova de Rionegro, cerca de Medellín. Según los estados financieros intermedios de Avianca Group International Limited al 31 de marzo de 2026, la sociedad pertenece indirectamente al 100 por ciento al grupo, controlado a su vez desde el 3 de abril de 2023 por Abra Group Limited. A diferencia de muchas marcas de carga, Avianca Cargo es un operador propio: la EASA inscribe a Tampa Cargo S.A.S. en su registro de operadores de terceros países autorizados con el certificado de operador aéreo colombiano UAEAC-CDO-003 y el código TCO COL-0007, expresamente con el nombre comercial Avianca Cargo. El primer Airbus A330-200F llegó en 2012; desde 2013 la división de carga opera bajo la marca única Avianca Cargo. El modelo operativo combina aviones cargueros propios Airbus A330 con la capacidad de bodega de la red de pasajeros de Avianca. Miami es el centro de operaciones carguero. Según el itinerario de septiembre de 2026, el transportador enlaza Miami con Bogotá, Medellín, Barranquilla, Cali, Ciudad de Guatemala, San Salvador, San Pedro Sula, Managua, San José, Ciudad de Panamá, Guayaquil, Quito, Lima, Santa Cruz, Asunción, Ciudad del Este, Montevideo, Buenos Aires, Santiago de Chile, Campinas, Curitiba, Florianópolis y Manaos. Desde México, rotaciones cargueras desde Felipe Ángeles (NLU) y Los Ángeles sirven Guadalajara y Monterrey. Códigos para el agente de carga: código IATA QT, designador OACI TPA, prefijo de guía aérea 729. El portafolio abarca carga general, perecederos, farmacéutico en las variantes PharmaCare, PharmaCoolCare y Pharma Priority, mercancías peligrosas, animales vivos incluidos los caballos, restos humanos, valores y courier o correo, siempre en los niveles de prioridad PRIORITY y STANDARD.
