The reorganization continues at Ziegler. The British Eaglets Holding is acquiring the majority stake in Ziegler Germany and Ziegler Netherlands. Ziegler Switzerland AG will be fully acquired. This is backed by a management buy-out. Simplified, a team that already knows the companies and the business takes over responsibility under a new ownership structure. For customers, there should be little change for now. Contacts, ongoing contracts, and transports will remain as stated by the company. The companies in the UK and Ireland are also part of the new group. This move comes after difficult months for Ziegler. There were bankruptcies, sales, and major restructuring in France and Belgium. Now, the more stable entities in the Netherlands, Germany, Switzerland, the UK, and Ireland are being consolidated. From a freight forwarder's perspective, it is especially important that operations continue. However, one should take a close look during such acquisitions: Which company will be the contractual partner in the future? Will bank details, billing addresses, or payment terms change? What will change for the employees?
