About This Seaport

Around 1.7 million tonnes of cargo and some 1,050 vessel calls pass through Pärnu each year, almost entirely as bulk and breakbulk rather than containers. Timber, wood pulp and flax dominate the export side, while fertilisers, salt and coal make up the principal imports.
